Amstor in Zaporozhye reduces prices for socially important goods

Amstor chain in Zaporozhye region is the first to have responded to Zaporozhye mayor's suggestion about creation of so called 'social' locations in supermarkets where you can find goods with minimal extra charge. The first department of the kind started its work on March 5.

To get assured that Amstor really started reducing prices, Yevgeniy Kartashov, Mayor of Zaporozhye has visited Amstor personally. Aleksandr Rezsnichenko, Deputy Director of Amstor Trade House LLC showed mayor all food groups with reduced prices: flour and bread - 6% reduction, poultry and vegetable oil - 7% reduction, beef and pork - 10% reduction, butter, sour cream and milk - 15% reduction. Sugar in Amstor is also cheaper than in other shops.

Having visited Amstor, Yevgeniy Kartashov noted that such action is needed, first of all, for local inhabitants belonging to low-income categories.

Aleksandr Rezsnichenko, Deputy Director of Amstor Trade House LLC noted that Amstor is interested in creation of 'social location' and willingly supported mayor's initiative.
