History and development prospects

Amstor’s birthday is August 28, 2003. This is when the first store of one of the future leading Ukrainian retailers opened its doors in Donetsk.

In early 2009 Amstor includes 24 trade centers in 12 Ukrainian cities. Amstor supermarket work in Donetsk, Makeyevka, Mariupol, Gorlovka, Severodonetsk, Zaporozhye, Melitopol, Nikolayev, Kremenchug, Berdyansk, Kramatorsk and Yenakiyevo. Total area of the network is over 250,000 sqm.

By the end of 2016/2018 Amstor plans opening of another 76 retail supermarket in different regions of Ukraine and increasing total trade area up to more than 850,000 sqm.

Amstor supermarket will appear in 15 new Ukrainian cities including Odessa and Dnepropetrovsk. Next trade centers will be opened in Donetsk, Makeyevka, Zaporozhye, Nikolayev and Kremenchug.

Moreover, the company is going to cope with brand new format pf trade and entertainment centre with maximally complete service range for its customers. Now a few projects of the kind are being developed, including trade and entertainment centre with area over 100,000 sqm to be opened in Kiev in the middle of 2010. Besides, under construction are trade and entertainment centers in Lugansk, Donetsk, Kremenchug, Mariupol, Odessa, Kherson, Dnepropetrovsk and Nikolayev. All these will have been opened by the end of 2010.

With new stores opened by the end of 2010, the number of workplaces will increase up to more than 26,000.
